Who I am

The Tradie AI Playbook is operated by L. Marshall, ABN 71 253 618 239, based in New South Wales, Australia. Contact: thetradieaiplaybook@gmail.com.

What I collect and why

If you buy the guide: your email address, your name if you provide it, and your payment details. Payment details go directly to Stripe and are processed on their systems - I never see or store your full card number. I keep a record of your purchase (email, date, amount) so I can send you the guide, re-send it if you lose it, send you free updates as promised, and handle refunds or questions.

If you request the free sample: your email address only. I use it to send you the sample and occasional emails about the guide. You can unsubscribe from any of these and I'll stop.

If you just visit the site: anonymous analytics data through Google Analytics 4 - which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, what device you're on. This isn't tied to your name. If I'm running ads, advertising platforms like Meta or TikTok may also place cookies to measure whether their ads worked.

What I don't do

I don't sell your information. I don't rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers. I don't send you unrelated marketing from other businesses.

Who else touches your data

Only the services needed to actually run this:

• Stripe - processes payments. They handle your card details under their own privacy policy and security standards.
• Google Analytics - anonymous site usage statistics.
• My email delivery service - sends you the guide and any updates.
• Advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google) - only if I'm running ads, and only anonymous conversion data.

Some of these are overseas providers, mainly in the United States, which means your data may be stored or processed outside Australia. I only use established providers with their own published privacy protections.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Purchase records: seven years, because Australian tax law requires it. Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete you. Analytics: as per Google's standard retention settings.

Keeping it secure

Payments run through Stripe's encrypted systems. The site uses HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to me. No system is completely bulletproof, but if something ever went seriously wrong with your data, I'd tell you and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

• Tell you what information I hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your information (except purchase records I'm legally required to keep)
• Stop sending you emails
• Explain anything on this page that isn't clear

Cookies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block them in your browser settings - the site will still work, though I won't be able to tell how people are using it.

Kids

This guide is for people running trade businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Complaints

If you think I've mishandled your information, email me first at thetradieaiplaybook@gmail.com and I'll do my best to sort it out. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version goes here with a new date at the top.
